There's something wrong with me. Well.. not like in the mental way (that's a given). I think I'm addicted.
It all started when I first played the Texas Chainsaw Massacre game. My boyfriend was playing it with my friend group, streaming them playing family. Since there was only three players allowed, I just watched. That's when I saw him.
Now, I'm a gay man. That's obvious.. right? From the whole warning page? The whole "gross perverted men" section of that? If not, I'd be surprised. Fix your gaydar Anyways. I saw Johnny Slaughter for the first time and I have never been the same since. I immediately drafted up an OC (Cringe, I know, sue me). He was a little scruffy man named Vincent. Vincent Maddox, I had come to decree. I drew, like, four things? A reference sheet, a few doodles, that was it really.
Recently I rediscovered Vincent when coming back to TCM (Dead by Daylight was boring, no other reason.....). At first I was mortified. He was twinkish! A frail man who was supposed to be violent? Really? Rather hard to believe when A. he's a cannibal and B. he's a woodsman. I had worked on an updated reference sheet, making little doodles in-between the process, then IT happened.
I was obsessed. All I could draw was Vincent. All I could think about was the murderous hillbilly who harassed the Sawyer family. I think he's the only character I have on Toyhou.se that has over 50 images. I'm shocked to this day (I say, currently drawing Vincent again). Currently, I'm in The Transitional Period between fixations and it's admittedly a little hellish. Not having something to think about constantly sucks, but I'll manage.
Not really a riveting first post. I just wanted to show off Vincent. I've never really been that fixated on a character since middle school, so it was a little jarring when the doodles kept piling up.
